NSU University came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31 points), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Chaminade-Madonna Lions as they made off with a 66-46 victory. The Sharks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Leading NSU University to victory were Justin Rhodes and Ahmed Mustapha. Rhodes posted 14 points and eight assists, while Mustapha dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Mustapha has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more boards the last three times he's played. Jordan Moshe was another key player, putting up eight points and ten rebounds.

NSU University smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 16 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

NSU University's record is now 6-1. As for Chaminade-Madonna, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

NSU University and Chaminade-Madonna should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. The Sharks will take on American Heritage at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (30 vs. 189). Meanwhile, Chaminade-Madonna (ranked 128th) will meet Hallandale (ranked 728th) at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
