It was a proper cat-fight when Lake Highlands took on MacArthur on Friday. The Lake Highlands Wildcats breezed by the MacArthur Cardinals to the tune of 64-33. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 20 points or more this season.

MacArthur lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Drelen Davis, who posted nine points. That's the most points Davis has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyden Berryman, who had eight points and seven boards.

Lake Highlands pushed their record up to 21-6 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for MacArthur, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-20 record this season.

Lake Highlands didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 67-49 defeat against Dallas Jesuit on the 21st. As for MacArthur, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-52 loss against Berkner on the 21st.
