Bishop Hendricken and Classical are an even 3-3 against one another since April of 2022, but not for long. The Hawks will head out on the road to challenge the Purple at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Bishop Hendricken is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: Chariho, who was ranked seventh at the time (Bishop Hendricken was ranked fifth). The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Chargers on Monday.

While Bishop Hendricken was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chariho's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Classical had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Tigers.

Classical got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 23-25, 18-25, 30-28, 15-13.

Bishop Hendricken's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3. As for Classical, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
