Northfield took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Eagle Valley, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Nighthawks had just enough and edged out the Devils 2-1 on Friday. For the Nighthawks, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2019.

Northfield's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Eagle Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Northfield will face off against Erie at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Eagle Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Palisade at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
