Volleyball Recap: Caralyn Woodworth and Izzy West Secure Win for GRACE Christian

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wake Christian Academy, GRACE Christian was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Cary Christian Knights 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

GRACE Christian was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

Leading GRACE Christian to victory were Izzy West and Caralyn Woodworth. West had ten digs and four aces, while Woodworth had 19 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Woodworth has posted since back in August of 2024.

The win got GRACE Christian back to even at 12-12. As for Cary Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.

GRACE Christian will challenge Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cary Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
