Recap: Arts & Tech vs. Berkley Bears
Arts & Tech had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They took a 45-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Berkley. Arts & Tech has struggled against Berkley recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Arts & Tech had strong showings from Da'veon Hall, who scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds, and Khalif Stovall , who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Arts & Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Berkley, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.
Arts & Tech will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Detroit Public Safety Academy at 7:00 p.m. on December 20th. As for Berkley, they will head out on the road to face off against Churchill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Churchill is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
