Baseball Recap: Jackson Comes Up Short

After flying high against Monroe County last Wednesday, Jackson came back down to earth. The Jackson Aggies came up short against the Leroy Bears on Saturday, falling 11-1. The loss continues a trend for the Aggies in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost eight in a row.

Jackson now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Leroy, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Leroy beat Jackson by a score of 12-2 later that day.
