Basketball Recap: Metro Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Metro Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 48-32 fall against South Haven Christian. The Eagles were down 39-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

South Haven Christian can attribute much of their success to Kade Atkinson, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 12 points and five rebounds. Aiden Hampton was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with nine points and 15 boards.

Metro Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Metro Christian Academy and Jonathan Edwards Classical Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for South Haven Christian, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Central Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
