Northridge has gone a perfect 5-0 against Niwot recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Grizzlies will welcome the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Northridge has given up an average of 32.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Northridge's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Mead on Friday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 48-0 to the Mavericks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Niwot). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Greeley Central 53-6. With the Cougars ahead 40-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

A big part of Niwot's win came down to the chemistry between Caleb Roby and his top target Jaydan Martinez. Roby gained 115 total yards and two touchdowns while Martinez picked up 133 receiving yards and three scores. Martinez has become a key player for Niwot: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 0-4 otherwise. Eli Quesada also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.

Niwot moved to 3-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Northridge, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Northridge against Niwot in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-14 win. In that matchup, the Grizzlies amassed a halftime lead of 34-7, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
