Basketball Game Preview: Horizon Huskies vs. Mountain Pointe Pride

The Horizon Huskies will head out on the road to challenge the Mountain Pointe Pride at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Horizon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

On Tuesday, Horizon earned a 75-68 victory over Chaparral.

Meanwhile, Mountain Pointe was able to grind out a solid win over Campo Verde on Friday, taking the game 76-63. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pride.

Horizon is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.5 points per game. As for Mountain Pointe, they pushed their record up to 15-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Horizon came out on top in a nail-biter against Mountain Pointe in their previous matchup back in January, sneaking past 64-62. The rematch might be a little tougher for Horizon since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
