Soccer Recap: Hinsdale Central Triumphs

With a playoff win on the line, Hinsdale Central rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Whitney Young Dolphins 1-0. Hinsdale Central were shut out 4-0 the last time they took on Whitney Young, so Hinsdale Central were just returning the favor.

Hinsdale Central's win bumped their record up to 8-12-2. As for Whitney Young, with the defeat, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 10-13-2.

Looking ahead, Hinsdale Central will venture away from home to challenge Berwyn/Cicero Morton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Berwyn/Cicero Morton will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Hinsdale Central surely won't give up without a fight. Whitney Young does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
