Football Recap: Venice Has No Trouble Against Fairfax + How To Watch

Venice barely beat Fairfax the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gondoliers' defense stepped up to hand the Lions a 24-0 shutout on Thursday. That 24 point margin sets a new team best for the Gondoliers this season.

Venice can attribute much of their success to Johnathan Lee, who picked up 52 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 52 receiving yards gave Lee a new career-high.

Venice didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Remy Carpenter and George Camaj.

The win got Venice back to even at 4-4. As for Fairfax, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
