5A District 4 recap Nov. 7, 2012
East Central extended the longest winning streak in 5A District 4 this week by beating Pryor, 42-7. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Cardinals.
Thanks to the talents of Keegan Yates and Carson Smallwood the Tigers have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Yates leads the league in passing with 943 yards, while Smallwood has rushed for 1456 yards this season. Claremore's Caleb Webster leads the league in receiving yards with 513 on 33 catches.
Tahlequah made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 7,903 from 8,097. The improvement was the result of 40-21 victory over the Tigers last week.
