Soccer Recap: Ogden Takes a Loss

Ogden managed to slip by Denison-Schleswig the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bulldogs lost 4-1 to the Monarchs on Monday. Ogden were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Denison-Schleswig apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

This is the second loss in a row for Ogden and nudges their season record down to 5-9-2. As for Denison-Schleswig, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-5-2.

Ogden wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Des Moines North on the 16th. As for Denison-Schleswig, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Glenwood on the 13th.
