Moscow came into Friday's match looking for another win against Minneola, but Braegen Shelor wouldn't allow it. The Minneola Wildcats narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Moscow Wildcats 57-55 thanks in part to Shelor, who went 10 for 19 on her way to 26 points and eight rebounds. What's more, she also posted a 53% shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's posted since back in February of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Maiya Granados, who posted 13 points and five boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Minneola's record is now 5-11. As for Moscow, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Wildcats challenge the Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Moscow, they will be playing at home against Satanta on Tuesday. Moscow is facing Satanta at the right time seeing as Satanta is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
