After only two runs in their last match, Bolsa Grande made sure to put some runs up on the board against Saddleback on Wednesday. The Matadors put the hurt on the Roadrunners with a sharp 13-2 win. Considering the Matadors have won four games by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Mikey Haley Jr. made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits. Haley Jr. was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024.
