Baseball Recap: MMI Preparatory School's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

MMI Preparatory School had lost three games straight , but after bumping their record up to 7-10 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They came out on top against the Lake-Lehman Knights by a score of 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-5 back in April.

As for Lake-Lehman, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-7. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, their shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

For Lake-Lehman's part, they saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Jenkins, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Looking ahead, MMI Preparatory School will head out to square off against Weatherly at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. MMI Preparatory School is facing Weatherly at the right time seeing as Weatherly is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Lake-Lehman, they will challenge Dallas at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
