Softball Recap: East Bay Comes Up Short

East Bay and Gaither squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but East Bay had to settle for second. They came up short against the Cowboys, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Indians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

East Bay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jensen Nelson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

East Bay has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season. As for Gaither, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-10.

As of now, neither East Bay nor the Cowboys have any future games scheduled.
