West Jefferson came into Friday's match looking for another win against Mechanicsburg, but Joshua Titus wouldn't allow it. The Mechanicsburg Indians managed a 52-48 victory over the West Jefferson Roughriders on Friday thanks in part to Titus, who went 7 for 16 en route to 22 points and six boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

West Jefferson's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Austin Buescher, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points in addition to eight rebounds and three blocks. Buescher is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted three or more in the last seven games he's played. Nick Fitzpatrick was another key player, putting up nine points and seven boards.

Mechanicsburg's win bumped their record up to 7-12. As for West Jefferson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

Mechanicsburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-24 defeat against Shekinah Christian on the 8th. As for West Jefferson, they will challenge Catholic Central at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
