Basketball Game Preview: Texhoma Red Devils vs. Sentinel

The Texhoma Red Devils will head out to challenge Sentinel at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Texhoma came up short against Hooker on Saturday, falling 40-18. While losing is never fun, the Red Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 267th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 19th).

Meanwhile, Sentinel lost 53-31 to Cordell on Tuesday. Sentinel has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Texhoma's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sentinel, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Texhoma was able to grind out a solid victory over Sentinel in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, winning 61-51. Will Texhoma repeat their success, or does Sentinel have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
