Baseball Preview: Loveland Tigers vs. Milford Eagles

The Loveland Tigers will head out on the road to challenge the Milford Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Loveland is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

On Saturday, Loveland came up short against Lakota West and fell 9-5.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Loveland has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.4 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Milford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.1. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.

Loveland beat Milford 5-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for Loveland since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
