Volleyball Recap: Chico Comes Up Short

The Chico Panthers lost 3-0 to the Shasta Wolves on Monday.

While Chico was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Shasta's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16, 25-21.

Chico's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Shasta, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chico will venture away from home to take on Enterprise at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shasta, they will head out to square off against Oroville at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
