It was a good run, but St. Paul unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors. The Swordsmen were probably out for revenge after losing 76-66 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Paul's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Paul will venture away from home to take on St. Anthony at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy, they will head out to face off against Bishop Montgomery at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy is facing Bishop Montgomery at the right time seeing as Bishop Montgomery is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
