Fans got a thrill when Blake Over and Zane Snyder connected against Williamsburg. The longest such play in Inter-County - Gold this season, the connection resulted in 73 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Bellwood-Antis beat Glendale 66-13. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Jake Burch threw for 138 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Casey Gray was a beast in the backfield as Bellwood-Antis topped the Vikings.
Over provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Northern Bedford County defeated the Blue Pirates. He completed 19 passes for 313 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 34 yards. Over's key target this week was Kyler Diehl, who caught 5 passes for 110 yards.
Burch and Gray gave John Hayes' team a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Teammate Matt McMillan added to the ground attack by rushing for 121 yards.
The Panthers' Over and Jacob Dasher led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-5 quarterback Over has thrown for 2,123 yards this season, while Dasher has 54 catches for 768 yards. The Blue Devils' Gray leads the league in rushing yards with 1,261.
Kris Smeal of the West Branch is just 65 yards short of surpassing 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 181 carries Smeal has accumulated 935 yard this year.
Mt. Union and Tussey Mountain played the most contested game in Inter-County - Gold this week, with Mt. Union eventually emerging with a 27-25 victory. Trevon Walker threw for 88 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 14 yards in the win.
