Volleyball Recap: Jupiter Victorious

Jupiter proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Morningside Academy Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Warriors have posted since March 19, 2025.

Jupiter took Morningside Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 26-16, 22-25, 26-28, 15-13.

Marcus Rivera paced Jupiter's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rivera got some help from Walker Weizer and his 35 assists. Finally, Zane Gumson and Dean Murray kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.

Jupiter's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Morningside Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 10-3 record.

Looking ahead, Jupiter will take on Palm Beach Gardens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morningside Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against South Fork on the 10th.
