Volleyball Recap: Marion Comes Up Short

Marion was the 2-0 winner over Dowling Catholic when they last played one another back in October of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell just short of the Maroons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Marion's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Dowling Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Marion didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Pleasant Valley on the 13th. Dowling Catholic has also already played their next matchup (against Linn-Mar), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
