Softball Recap: Sabine Pass Comes Up Short

Sabine Pass was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 16-0 to the Big Sandy Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Tuesday.

Sabine Pass' loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Big Sandy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Sabine Pass will challenge rival Spurger at 4:00 p.m. on April 4. Meanwhile, Big Sandy is set to face off against their familiar foe Hull-Daisetta at 5:00 p.m. on April 4.
