On Friday, Moses Brown faced Cranston West in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Moses Brown Quakers put the hurt on the Cranston West Falcons with a sharp 70-47 victory. The Quakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Cranston West still got an impressive performance from Kyla Buco, who went 7 of 15 on her way to 20 points and three steals. Buco's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Maggie Sjovall, who went 5 for 7 en route to 10 points and six boards.

Moses Brown's win bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Cranston West, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
