Recap: Cedar Park Timberwolves vs. Liberty Hill Panthers
After losing to the Liberty Hill Panthers the last time they met, the Cedar Park Timberwolves decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Cedar Park managed a 53-48 victory over Liberty Hill on Tuesday.
Ethan O'connor was the offensive standout of the game as he scored 14 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew O'connor, who scored six points along with two steals.
Cedar Park is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Liberty Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 18-7.
Cedar Park will head out on the road to take on Lehman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lehman will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 955th, while Cedar Park is ranked 273rd). As for Liberty Hill, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rouse is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.
