Volleyball Recap: Islands Takes a Loss

The Islands Sharks came up short against the Brunswick Pirates on Tuesday and fell 2-0.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Brunswick scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21.

Islands' loss dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Brunswick, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-11 record this season.

Islands is taking a road trip to take on West Laurens at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Brunswick, they will welcome Ware County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
