Covenant Christian was forced to take a big loss against they on Monday, they got the better of them on Monday. They put the hurt on the Hopkins Vikings with a sharp 15-4 victory. Considering the Chargers have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Covenant Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Hopkins, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-9-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Covenant Christian will host Lee at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Legends will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hopkins, they will welcome Thornapple Kellogg at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
