Baseball Game Preview: East Windsor Panthers vs. Ellington Knights

East Windsor is 0-8 against Ellington since April of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Panthers will host the Knights at 3:45 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Tuesday, East Windsor came up short against Granby Memorial and fell 7-3.

East Windsor saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Witzke, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Emmit Soboslai also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, Ellington unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of Edwin O. Smith by a score of 3-2.

Ellington's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for East Windsor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
