Baseball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-2 to the West Valley Rams. One positive for the Pirates, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Valley, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: West Valley beat Davis by a score of 11-10 later that day.
