Basketball Recap: Bible Baptist Christian's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

If Bible Baptist Christian was feeling good fresh off their 71-42 takedown of Coastal HomeSchool last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bible Baptist Christian Wolves took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Atlanta Hornets. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, Bible Baptist Christian still got an impressive performance from Stephen Rahming, who posted 24 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance gave Rahming a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Coleman, who scored six points along with six assists and five steals.

Bol Deng had an outrageously good game for South Atlanta as he went 8 for 13 en route to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Drew Clark, who put up nine points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Bible Baptist Christian's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for South Atlanta, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-6.

Bible Baptist Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-40 defeat against Westover on the 20th. As for South Atlanta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 59-39 victory against Stockbridge on the 20th.
