Gulf Breeze is headed into Monday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of South Walton. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Dolphins couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Choctawhatchee). They never let Crestview onto the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Friday. Give the Indians' defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Choctawhatchee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six contests. As for Gulf Breeze, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6-3.
