Softball Recap: Blazer Takes a Loss

Blazer suffered their closest loss since March 27th on Friday. They fell just short of the Cabell Midland Knights by a score of 6-4. The Tomcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blazer's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Cabell Midland, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blazer will square off against Pike County Central at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Tomcats are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Cabell Midland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Spring Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Timberwolves will have lost four straight heading into Tuesday's contest.
