Football Recap: Pahokee's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Pahokee was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. The game between the Blue Devils and the Cardinal Newman Crusaders didn't end well, with the Blue Devils falling 26-10. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

It was another big night for Phoenix Donghia, who rushed for 129 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards for Cardinal Newman. Another player making a difference was Jyron Hughley, who threw for 106 yards and one TD while completing 88.9% of his passes.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pahokee fell to 3-1. As for Cardinal Newman, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Pahokee has already played their next match, a 41-21 win against Palm Beach Gardens on the 19th. As for Cardinal Newman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 31-0 loss against Jesuit on the 19th.
