Football Recap: Piedmont Academy Finds Playoff Glory Versus Lakeview Academy + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Piedmont Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They managed a 27-21 victory over the Lakeview Academy Lions on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Cougars: when they faced off against the Lions back in August, they had to take a 34-7 defeat.

Piedmont Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Moss led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Burrell is also crushing it when it comes to total tackles: he's made at least five every time he's taken the field this season. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Piedmont Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Lakeview Academy, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Piedmont Academy will square off against John Milledge Academy on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 31 points in their last five games. Lakeview Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
