Dougherty won the last time they faced Monroe and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans' defense stepped up to hand the Tornadoes a 10-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Dougherty, who have now won five matches by five goals or more so far this season.

The win (which was Dougherty's third in a row) raised their record to 5-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those three contests. As for Monroe, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
