Recap: East Bladen Eagles vs. Heide Trask Titans
The East Bladen Eagles pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 72-55 to Heide Trask. East Bladen has not had much luck with Heide Trask recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.
Myron Mckoy was his usual excellent self, scoring 28 points along with three steals for Heide Trask. Mckoy is crushing the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Bradford Bannerman, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
East Bladen has not been sharp recently as the team has lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Heide Trask, the victory (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 17-4.
East Bladen will be playing in front of their home fans against Whiteville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
