Hartington-Newcastle won the last time they faced Neligh-Oakdale and things went their way on Monday too. The Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats walked away with a 39-30 victory over the Neligh-Oakdale Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wildcats.

Despite the defeat, Neligh-Oakdale saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaycee Gadeken dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 13 boards, and ten steals. Another player making a difference was Bree Kester, who posted five points.

Hartington-Newcastle's record is now 9-5. As for Neligh-Oakdale, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
