Pine Forest saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Landen Thompson, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Chase Mims also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, E.E. Smith was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against Overhills, falling 15-1.

E.E. Smith's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pine Forest, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 7-3.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pine Forest has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like E.E. Smith struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Pine Forest took their win against E.E. Smith in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0. Will Pine Forest repeat their success, or does E.E. Smith has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
