It's playoff time, and Early County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the Greene County Tigers 43-6 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won seven matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.

Devonis Lee continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 264 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Those four rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Lee was just one part of a punishing run game: Early County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 380 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 182 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Early County pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 13.6 points on average over those games. As for Greene County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.

Early County has already played their next contest, a 13-7 win against Mt. Zion on the 21st. Greene County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
