Volleyball Recap: Berkshire's Win on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to 12

Berkshire entered their tilt with Champion on Thursday with 11 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 12. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Golden Flashes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Berkshire was: they took every set by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11, 25-10.

Leading Berkshire to victory were Ava Chuha and Delana Kellogg. Chuha had ten assists and three aces, while Kellogg had four aces. That's the most aces Kellogg has posted since back in September.

They weren't the only good servers: Berkshire was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Berkshire's record now sits at 21-2. As for Champion, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-18.

Looking ahead, Berkshire will take on South Range in a tournament on Tuesday. Champion does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
