Volleyball Recap: Boyer Valley Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Boyer Valley entered their tilt with Woodbine on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since September 16th.

Boyer Valley was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-23, 22-25, 25-18, 15-13.

Leading Boyer Valley to victory were Ava Klinker and Morgan Hast. Klinker had 47 assists and seven digs, while Hast had 16 kills, three blocks, and two aces. Those 16 kills gave Hast a new career-high.

They weren't the only good server: Boyer Valley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. They are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Boyer Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Woodbine, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-11.

Coming up, Boyer Valley will face off against Paton-Churdan at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Woodbine, they will welcome CAM at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
