Several teams notched impressive wins in weekend action. Miramar, Alemany and Center Grove enter the rankings.

Several decisive victories highlighted weekend action for teams ranked in the Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard.

Allen, the nation's No. 3-ranked team, dominated former No. 9 Coppell 31-0 in a showdown of two Top 10-ranked teams. Tay Evans, who normally stars at linebacker, rushed for two touchdowns in the victory.

In one of the weekend's more exciting games, John Curtis used a late touchdown to slip past previous No. 5 Edna Karr in a game that spotlighted Louisiana's top two teams.

But the most stunning victory of the weekend belongs to St. Joseph Regional. Facing a Bergen Catholic squad that hung tough with John Curtis and Bishop Gorman, St. Joseph Regional looked flawless, hammering Bergen Catholic 49-6.

Teams from Indiana, California and Florida make their rankings debuts this week.
