St. Clairsville typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Beaver Local proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Red Devils. The win was nothing new for the Beavers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Beaver Local had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-15.

Lily Schrieber paced Beaver Local's offense, picking up 12 kills. Schrieber got some help from Bria Boyd and her 40 assists. Schrieber was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Beaver Local's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for St. Clairsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-3.
