Soccer Game Preview: Monrovia vs. La Canada

Monrovia's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Temple City as Monrovia made off with a 3-0 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

Adrian Sanchez and Manny Lopez scored all three of Monrovia's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for La Canada, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They blew past San Marino 6-0 on Friday. That looming 6-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.

La Canada now has a winning record of 7-6-3. As for Monrovia, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2-4.
