Aledo had already won eight in a row and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Stephenville Yellow Jackets/Honeybees. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearcats also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2015.

Among those leading the charge was Kailey Hamilton, who had five aces and three digs. Those five aces gave her a new career-high. Karsyn Evans was another key player, getting eight digs and two assists.

Aledo's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Stephenville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-2.

Coming up, Aledo will challenge Mansfield at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stephenville, they will take on Lorena at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
