For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Cherokee and Marietta have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. Cherokee came out on top against Marietta by a score of 7-3.

Marietta has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season. Cherokee's victory bumped their record up to 11-9.
